Cooking at Home Experience, Mumbai (Approximately 3 hours)

This unique tour gives you an insight in a typical Mumbai kitchen. You will visit a local‘s home in Mumbai. Your Indian host has excellent culinary skills and you will help her to make that perfect meal which you can savour with your host at the end.
 
Normally the vegetables are chopped and kept ready before you arrive. Other small pre-preparations are also taken care of so that time is not wasted in doing those chores after you arrive. The host explains the dishes to me made for the day and then makes them by liberally taking your help.
 
You can hence see some of the favourite Indian dishes prepared right before your eyes. You will be amazed to see the different spices and flavourings that go in every Indian meal; not to forget the garnishing in the end.
The host is passionate about cooking and well versed with the Indian cooking methods. The recipes are easy to follow and a recipe book or pamphlet is given at the end of the meal. Once the whole meal is prepared, you can sit down with the host and enjoy the meal.
 
Apart from Indian dishes, you can also learn baking cakes as well as chocolate and dessert making.
