This temple is one of the 12 jyotirlingas in India. The temple is located on the banks of the Godavari River in Trimbak town. The temple which is 38 kms before Nashik if you are coming from the Mumbai side.

Mukti Dham, Nashik
This temple complex is located on Nashik Road. It is dedicated to many Hindu Gods. The marble temple complex was built by a local business man, Late J.D. Chauhan-Bytco. Interesting attractions in the temple are the replicas of the 12 jyotirlingas and 18 chapters of the Holy Geeta Book that are inscribed on the walls. Other prominent temples are Kala Rama Temple which is close to Ramkund, Gumpha Panchvati and Sundar Narayan Temple.

Ram Kund, Nashik
This is the most popular bathing ghat along the Godavari River. Hundreds of Hindu pilgrims take a deep in the river and pray in the morning. Several people are seen immersing the ashes of their loved ones who have passed away.

Pandavleni Caves, Nashik
These are 24 caves that were carved out from rock between 3rd century BC and 2nd century AD. All the caves are Viharas (staying places) except the 18th cave. The caves are located at Trirashmi Mountain which is 8 kms from Nashik. You will see legible inscriptions in some of the caves.

Bhakti Dham Temple, Nashik
This temple is located 2.5 kms from the main bus stand. It is visited by many pilgrims and many of them study the holy books of Hinduism called the Vedas.

Shirdi, Near Nashik
Shirdi is a village which is 40 kms from Nashik. It is an important pilgrimage centre as it has a temple dedicated to Sai Baba who attained Nirvana at this place. The temple is visited by thousands of pilgrims every day and the rush is 3 times every Thursday. The temple is called Samadhi Mandir of Sai Baba.
